This project takes place in Chipstead, Sevenoaks, Kent. It is a collaboration between Spirit of Peace, Sevenoaks Rotary, and Chipstead Lakes Cheshire Home. The project improves the environment at the Cheshire Home, with the goal of increasing wellbeing for residents, staff, visitors and volunteers. Our planting is designed to support biodiversity and uses eco-friendly methods, according to expert advice. We are grateful to Kent Community Foundation, Rotary Eco Fund, Chevening and Chipstead Parish Councils, the staff at the Cheshire Home, and volunteers, including Bluebird Care. Thank you too, to Andy Batch of Batch 21.

Flower Planting
We were glad to see that Spring had come to some of the planters we were able to refurbish in Autumn. We were delighted to see the project gathering momentum.
With plans to plant vegetables soon, we invited volunteers to join us and anyone who had vegetable plants they could donate to get in touch.

Planting session
Continuing to make a difference. This is the boat at the entrance, which was given new soil and lots of spring bulbs. We also replanted and tidied some of the plants which were originally in the boat. This was much appreciated by those who live there, work there or visit.
